Wallpaper with Hooks

• Exhibition on the international fabric fair, Heimtextil, Frankfurt, 2003 in the context of the New Walls, Please! design competition.
  
  This wallcovering combines functionality and decoration. Hooks are made out of polystyrol plates, allowing bags, keys, clothes, pictures etc. to be hung anywhere on the wall. Your favourite items then becoming part of the room’s decor. The traditional wallpaper pattern takes on a new form as it stretches and distorts to accomodate the hook.
