In recognition of Bremerhaven’s contribution to scientific research, it earned the title of the City of Science in 2005. In order to celebrate this, The Science Pier, was an event showcasing Bremerhaven’s maritime scientific heritage. The Design team created a promotional shopwindow campaign, collaborated on the overall design of the exhibition Bremerhaven’s Marine Expertise and the Pier Information Cubes.

Part 3 – The Pier’s Information Cubes

Bright red information cubes were placed within Bremerhaven’s city centre and also along the waterfront, containing information about the scientific institutes. They also provided public seating.
